Vaughan Oliver is the artist behind many memorable LP covers of 4AD, and the bands in his works include Breeders, Elfs, Scott Walker, TV on TV, Lush, Lush, Cocteau Twins, Modern English, Modern English, The Mountain Goats, The Mountain Goats, and more. Since the 1980s, his sensitivity has played a huge role in the public-facing aesthetic of the record company. So far, he has made art for every Pixies album.
In his work with the elves, he told Rolling Stone: “My starting point is always music, reading lyrics, talking to the band. Images [Frank Black] Painting with his lyrics really resonates. His work is full of wonderful images that always appeal to me, and these ideas I try to reflect on with packaging. ”
