Tattoo artist, painter and sculptor Fred Laverne has a dark surreal sensibility that incorporates the work of pop culture and pulp theo into his work. The artist lives in Menton, France and has earned a reputation in tattoos and fine arts, which he keeps parallel to.
“He has been tattooing since 1993, and although he is from Arden, he has been working in Munton,” his website says. “Over the years he has perfected a new school style, and he has evolved into more realisticism, such as his paintings. Since Fred has been painting for over 10 years, you can appreciate his work in the “Art” section. Fred does not ignore other tattoo styles such as Japanese, ornamental and dark realism, while also favoring color.”
