Today, the fitness tracker and smartwatch industry is somewhat oversaturated, but Fitbit is still one of the top dogs. When it comes to Fitbits, Versa 4 is our advice “for anyone who needs some feature functionality but is simple and affordable”.
While it’s not the most advanced smartwatch in the Fitbit range (this is the Sense 2), it looks and feels great, has a lot of built-in fitness features, and is relatively low-priced. As of August 11, the Fitbit Versa 4 is priced at $149.95 – 25% lower than our outstanding performance last week and $30 cheaper.

It’s lack of access to a wide range of applications, lack of ECG and pressure sensors, its fitness features, design and usability upgrades (we also like) and its responsive touch screen. You will get heart rate tracking, sleep tracking, SP02 monitoring, stress tracking and built-in GPS. Our reviewer points out that this is not the most accurate GP she uses, but “if your goal is general fitness, rather than long-distance exercises tracked in detail, it’s great to use casually.” It’s also waterproof for swimming, which tracks basic swimming metrics.
It will last for five to six days to the Apple Watch and can track the entire 10K of the GP without dying. Unfortunately for Apple users, you can’t reply text directly from your watch – this feature is only available to Android users. But you can still receive notifications and voice calls.
Ultimately, the Versa 4 is a pretty stable purchase at full price. Enjoy a $50 discount, which is a better value.
