I saved 100,000 points and $200 in hotel accommodation in this 1 booking adjustment

I just spent a weekend getaway for two nights, over 100,000 points less than the fee.
Essentially, this is also due to the $100 credit we used for food, and some very indulgent daily breakfasts, both breakfasts, and neither of them at an extra cost.
Oh, the best part? I still earn some Bonvoy points and credit for elite status. And thanks to my Marriott Platinum Elite identity, we even get into the live club lounge.
If you are waiting for the harvest, I understand completely. You should probably do everything well these days.
But no gains – just the reality is that relatively new chase point lift features have been added to cards like cards Chase SapphireReserve® (See Rates and Fees) This year, your point of view can make your point worth up to 2 cents of value and should not actually be overlooked or underestimated, especially when paired with The Edit Hotel Collection in Chase, at the benefits of qualified hotels like JW Marriott at Anaheim Resort.

This is especially true, as Chase’s “Edited Hotel” is very reliable as part of the list of improved booking options that extend your points and provide Eliteliellike’s privilege.

More than 100,000 points saved
I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel in Anaheim, California for two nights and if I have booked points in my Marriott account or transferred from Chase Ultimate Rewards at a 1:1 ratio, it will cost 166,000 Bonvoy points.

However, since hotels are part of the points boost product, each Chase Ultimate Rewards point used is worth 2 cents, reducing the points speed for a two-night stay to around 59,000 points.
Since hotels are Chase’s points boost booking option as shown below, it also means spending 20,000 less time than before, which will allow me to use points in the sapphire reserve. (When we were on the subject, the Sapphire Reserve arguably has a best offer now.)

Benefits of over $200
It’s a new way to book a trip with fewer points, which is enough to excite me, but since the hotel is part of Chase’s “Editor” it also comes with valuable privileges.
In this case, we both offer a free daily breakfast which includes the entire buffet or main course, a side and a drink from the hotel restaurant.

Breakfast burritos and special shouts from Chiraquel. On the surface, the cost of both breakfasts is about $100 a day, although we will find less food somewhere without being covered by this cheering, so I’ll be estimating each breakfast here for $50.
Booking through Chase’s The Edit also offered us $100 in property credit, which we used in the bar to mix drinks and dinner. I’m not the one who refuses free meals – in this case, a OK bowl and fried chicken sandwich – so it’s a very good deal and is only available for booking through chase.

Thanks to booking through editing, we also received a “Welcome Facilities” in the room. It’s small, but worthy of appreciation: notes, glittering water and some macarons.

All in all, for our two night stay we booked over $200 on-site bonus through Chase’s editing plan alone.
More than 3,000 Marriott Points and Elite Night Points were earned
Usually, when you book a hotel through a third-party website, you are not eligible to earn points and sometimes even use Elite Status allowances.
However, when booking through edited by Chase, things may vary. As shown below, you will check if you are eligible for a booked hotel loyalty program in the booked hotel loyalty program.

I was able to add my Marriott Platinum number at check-in – the hotel even offered to ask for it.
You can also add your phone number through Chase’s website. This integration resulted in over 3,000 Bonvoy points and earned two elite night points while staying.
Transparently, I’m not sure how the system lands at that number, although I’m assuming it’s some accidental and commercial expense, whether for my intention or accident, qualifies rather than the full base rate. But it’s still nice to make money.
It is also worth mentioning that our lounge access benefits have also been honored due to my Marriott Platinum status. This allowed us to grab some soda, water, snacks and desserts and honestly spent very little out-of-pocket funds and drinks throughout the weekend.

Bottom line
Chase’s points boost changed how I used (and earned) certain travel points.
This is especially true when we want hotels in hotel loyalty programs without a fixed reward chart, such as Bonvoy Marriott Bonvoy, and use the program’s own points, falling high on the points price spectrum. But when the cash price of real estate goes down at $400 to $600 per night, this is common for premium properties within the Westin or JW Marriott hotel brand at 2 cents per minute, meaning only 20,000-30,000 chase points per night.
Once you add $100 property credit and free breakfast, you might be looking for something better than most other options and worth checking before booking your next trip.
