Say More: RL Stine on “Fear Street: The Prom Queen” and Matt Wolf

Leigh Janiak’s 2021 Fear Street Trilogy, Fear Street: The Prom Queen Co-written and directed by Matt Palmer. The film is a more direct adaptation of the Stine-worshiped YA horror novel produced in 1988 in Shadyside, an invisible killer who defeated the possible dance queen before the dance. Who will win the championship and who will pick up the axe? You have to listen to it to find out.

In his interview, Stine is more interested in talking about his writing process, the fun fanaticism and what drives him. Plus, his perfect comedy timing sets Mashable’s crew apart.

Speaking of giggling, Pee like himself is a two-part document that explores the people behind the late Paul Reubens. The American performer died before the film was packaged, but Wolf persisted in creating a complex and understanding portrait of Rebens, inviting viewers to understand not only him but also better understand himself.
