Sometimes your iPhone is deep in another room or bag. The moment you need to use it, but don’t want to find it, you can pull it onto your computer. As part of Apple’s continuity feature, iPhone mirroring allows you to access and interact with your iPhone wirelessly using your Mac.

When the feature starts to be used, you will see the iPhone’s custom home screen appear. From there, you can use your keyboard, trackpad, or mouse to drag and drop content (such as photos, videos, and files) between two devices, open and use any app, swipe on all pages on the home screen, and view and respond to notifications. When you do this, your iPhone will remain locked. It also works when the iPhone is in standby mode, which is a feature of iOS 17 that turns the iPhone into a smart display when it is charged.

MacOS Sequoia offers some new features for Safari. With highlights, Safari will use machine intelligence to show you relevant information from web pages such as directions, links, summary and restaurant reviews. Apple has also redesigned its readers to minimize distractions. In addition to a stylish view of the article, you can also view summary and catalogs (for longer articles). If the web page contains a video, the viewer brings it to the forefront while still giving you access to playback controls (including pictures in the picture).

Anyone who always opens a large number of browser windows at the same time will appreciate the window tiling feature, which helps organize them for a better viewing experience. When you drag a window to the edge of the screen, MacOS automatically suggests the tile position on your screen. (This is similar to the buttons on a window.) You can then place the windows in place, line up multiple windows side by side, or place them in any of the four corners to free up more applications. For faster organizations, you can also use keyboard and menu shortcuts.

In MacOS 15, the company has also added some. With apps like FaceTime and Zoom, you can access the new host preview feature to see what you’ll share. Meanwhile, the built-in background feature allows you to apply system wallpapers, color gradients, or your own photos to the background of video calls. This feature is available on FaceTime and third-party applications such as Webex.
