How to answer “How many are you looking for?”

How to answer “How many are you looking for?”

The interviewer wants to lock in your salary and expectations in the first conversation with you. This is the way to answer.

In the video, I mentioned another video of how you answered this question after the interview. This is the link

The ingredients are missing in your interview (brand, recovery, network)

Here is how to answer this question: “How many are you looking for?”

OK, let’s start with the scene. The scenario is when you talk to the screener during the first interview. Understand that screeners only have the power to say no, no; they have no right to actually hire you. So let’s give them an appropriate answer.

“You know, I’ve only seen a job ad or a job description, or what the recruiter told me. I haven’t met my future boss, I haven’t met the team, I really haven’t People are aware of what I expect. Once I have more information, can we talk about it?

Now, this is a real answer because you really don’t know what you’re going to expect. And they try to lock you on a number. So follow me to learn more and they might come back to you and say, “But I need a number.”

The correct answer should be: “I can give you a number, but I hope you understand until I know more. So let me first ask you, what is the salary range for the position? Now, they might bring back some translations to “OK, the first time I asked you!” “Things. You can answer: “Yes, I’ll ask you second. So what’s the difference? So, playing here again with a smile on your face, the answer helps push the needle forward.

Now, they may not be completely honest about the salary range. Let us know this. So you have the ability to say again, “You know, I’m going to give you a number, I think it clear, I don’t commit to that number until I know more.” Then, once they tell you their phone number, you can say, “Now, the high end of the range is what I’m looking for, and when I learn more about the position, I might come back and ask for more. I might come back and say I’m willing to do less. But this is the court of what I want. After I actually have an interview with people, let’s talk.”

Now, I’m interviewing again about wage negotiations, which I call the process “delay and deflection.” After the delay and deflection, I will have a link in the program description. Once they get back to the interview and they get back to you after you look for the numbers, this is how to answer this question.
