Madeleine Tonzi’s Underwater Moon

The portfolio of works by Los Angeles-based artist Madeleine Tonzi (formerly appeared here). Tonzi is a painter and muralist whose works focus on capturing short moments. She is particularly interested in the thoughts of memory and place and the relationships we form in the various environments in which we live. Her latest show, Moon of the Sea, represents a formal and conceptual distillation of Tony’s established visual language. Reduced to its most elemental components (providing space for subtle nuances and forms of confidence), these works provide a sense of clarity in a world that is increasingly obscure and complex in the day.
“Moon Inforwater”, currently on display in the contemporary Hashimoto, is on display until June 14.
