Disney Fantasy Spain, Italy and France Review

From Barcelona to Rome, Pisa (Fiorentina), Genoa (Milan), Bantor (Provence) and back to Barcelona, we share our comprehensive review of the Disney Fantasy. This is Disney Cruise #6 (Gold, Baby!), and it’s my favorite so far. For Disney cruise tips and tricks, check out this post.
Hi, friends! Are you OK? I hope you have a great morning. We had a great time in Sevilla with our friends and enjoyed an epic Disney cruise in the Mediterranean after our trip to Barcelona and spent some time in Barcelona after our cruise. I hope your summer will also have a happy start!
(There must be used to remove a few people from the front of the picture. A little bit of working lol. Link to this dress!)
For today’s post, I want to share a review of the tour! You know we’re happy about the Disney parade – I never thought I would be a parade, but we’re here – it’s the itinerary I’ve wanted to do over the years. So far, I’ve been blitz in all my favorite places: Spain, Illiti and France. This is an absolute dream.
Disney Fantasy Spain, Italy and France Review
We booked this trip with some of our closest friends and parade partners – I think it’s their Disney Cruise #17. We planned this trip *hope* the pilot will be done with airline training – he must complete the training again when he retires from the military and returns to business – but unfortunately the schedule doesn’t quite work. Since he would go anyway, we decided to stick to our plan and enjoy the girl’s trip. I think the girls will always remember this solo tour, with only three of us plus some amazing friends.
Disney Fantasy Balcony Room
We had a balcony room in the past, and we didn’t use it as much as we could. This time, I spent a lot of time drinking coffee and reading on the balcony, or having a late afternoon wine fun time with Kathryn as their room was right next door.
It’s spacious and lovely, Disney bedding is just around the A+. Softer and more luxurious than most hotel beds. (They use Frette linen, which we ended up buying after our first Disney cruise because we love them so much.)
(Peeping into the canopy humidifier in the background – I will never travel without it, my eyes and skin are happier)
Performances and entertainment
Disney offers incredible Broadway quality performances and entertainment, and offers musicians, comedians, deck parties with characters and dancers as well as movies. On our parade, they had three Broadway-style shows: Aladdin, believe it and freezing. P and I eventually abandoned two of them freezing Incredible. This is the best Elsa I’ve ever seen. She was definitely crushed.
We must see new ones Lilo and Stitch The date before the movie is officially released! We all love it. It’s heartfelt, funny, I almost cried a few times.
Eat-free and gluten-free on Disney Parade
As far as I know, Disney is one of the safest cruises if you have food allergies. They value them very much, and even if you have sensitivity or intolerance with allergies, they consider them allergies. We had a gluten-free food trip in Barcelona and a girl in our group told me that Disney Cruises made her feel like she could eat whatever she wanted was a rare treat.
GF Chocolate Walnut Cake is my favorite Disney Cruise Dessert:
In the past, I just browsed the menus alone because they were obviously marked with a gluten-free selection. Since P is also GF now, I told them that we both have gluten sensitivity (clearly we are not allergic, my reason is health reasons, P has serious sensitivity), and they go beyond that.
They have gluten-free warm rolls on the table every night, which you will book on the next day every night. They can make any *regular* menu option gluten-free with pre-notification.
Kathryn and I had one night with Palo and the salmon was perfect:
The Cabanas buffet is my favorite day:
We also have to have gluten-free Mickey Waffles and churro Waffles in the morning. Bless it.
Harbor Adventures and Tours
I’m overly fanatical about port adventures because they are such beautiful places. You can’t be in pizza, you know? They were a long trip the previous two days (about 10 hours), but the girl was a soldier.
Here is what we did:
Rome alone
That’s everything. You jumped on the bus and went to Rome for about 2 hours and they let you enjoy 5 hours of life and then go back by bus.
By “enjoy your life,” this means having an epic Italian lunch and shopping for the rest of the time.
La Soffitta Renovatio’s gluten-free pizza is everything I want.
We loved the attractions, stopped at the espresso and desserts in the late afternoon and we were very satisfied.
Pisa and Florence with guided hiking
We were able to see Pisa, the Cathedral, Baptistery and the sloped towers of Cansanto. It sprinkled a little, but it was still pretty. It was also the same day as the Giro d’Italia Time Time trial, so we were able to see the cyclists ready to start.
Afterwards we went to Florence, where we skipped the guided hike, chose to go shopping at Mama Eat, visit all the GF meals at St. Cross Cathedral, and watch the opera street performances in the square.
Crispy bites of meat peanut butter:
We must go back to Florence and explore more of Tuscany.
Genoa Aquarium
For Genoa, we chose a shorter tour to visit the aquarium, one of the most impressive aquariums we visited. Fun fact: They use water that filters and optimizes pH balance from the ocean, so the fish have beautiful clear water every day. We all love this. Short and sweet.
bandol own
For Bantor, we spent the beach in this quaint and lovely beach town. The girls had pizza, we grabbed snacks from the market, we sat on beach towels, and the girls collected shells and played in the water.
On board, we did the usual pranks. The girls play detective games,
We did family karaoke every night, bingo hang out in the pool and enjoyed fabulous dining and entertainment. We also had a cool time in the room and I did some workouts in the gym.
Even though the cruise was 7 nights, it was too fast! ! We stayed in Barcelona for a few nights-I will soon take a adventure with some Barcelona and head to Sevilla.
So, tell me, my friend: Are you a parade? We love Disney cruises, but haven’t tried any other cruises.
Hope you have a wonderful day and I will see you soon!
XO
Gina
