Priority Current and Ebike Reviews: Serious Power, Easy Fun

I’ve always been one As long as I remember, the enthusiastic cyclists lasted. As a kid, I would cruise around town with friends all day in the summer, reveling in freedom and autonomy that comes from your own only. Decades later, my introduction to the ebike scene provides a new feeling for the nostalgic joy of opening up the road.
As a relatively newcomer, most of my boiling experience over the past year or so have been relatively cheap ebikes like the Propella 9s and Priority’s E-Classic Plus. So when the priorities gave me the opportunity to try a more noble current plus, my first question was: “What do you get from the three grand ebikes?”
In this case, the short answer is scope, style, function and power. a lot of Power, this may be the biggest key to success at present. As a throttle-equipped 2-level boiling that can be converted to 3-level, you can absolutely burn at up to 28 mph with pedal aid, with few hills that can slow you down.

Most importantly, the bike’s powerful motor keeps you safe in rough situations. Simply increase the motor speed to level 5 and then let the current plus your traffic drive you or cross busy roads. I rarely push the motor above the midpoint, but when I need power it arrives quickly, giving me time to cruise almost anywhere on the mean streets of Oregon.
The current battery range is impressive, which adds the feeling anywhere, allowing me to not have to ride for a few days without putting it in the best condition. This freedom and autonomy brought the feeling of BMX back to me from ebike Tourist to a true commuter.
Greasy lightning
As a bicycle directly to the consumer, current overtime requires some components. The local bike shop can do this for you for $150-200, and I recommend you consider this for beginners. If you are more ambitious you can assemble yourself, but the priorities still recommend that you provide a store for safety.
Otherwise, from a maintenance standpoint, the current Plus is extremely disappointed. The Gates carbon drive belt requires no lubrication or grease and claims to last “2-3 times longer” than the chain, while the priority tests the 750 WH battery with up to 90 miles per charge and the highest pedal assist speed. Having this bike sit up and down the hills of Southeast Portland for weeks, I squeezed out an impressive 60 miles of 60 miles per charge.
I tested the bike with a five-speed Shimano Nexus Gear System, but for $200 you can swap in an Enviolo CVT (continuously variable transmission). Here is an interchange you can consider, if you are towing a lot of gear – it is much safer to make minor adjustments to torque if your bike is heavy or unbalanced – but if you don’t have one or two kids, you may not need it.

While the bike’s mid-drive motor is smoother than the formal Eclassic, I noticed some pedal buzz when I started the bike with higher gears. Downshifting to lower gear eliminates the buzz, and the simplified belt drive makes it extremely smooth and can be transferred to any gear at rest. After a few rides, I could transfer and exchange movement speeds without thinking, such as driving a car with a manual transmission.
Soon after, I was flying like a professional in town, and as Portland’s rainy winters turned into sunny springs, I had more and more cars. Man, this thing flies. When boxed at 20 mph at the speed of a 2nd bike, I hit the top speed from anything above the second pedal assisted motion speed, so if local law allows you may want to convert it to Class 3 from the display settings. After the conversion, I still only hit 26 mph on flats, but that was fast enough.
I spend most of my time between the first and second pedal assist speeds, but when I feel tired (or curious), the transfer to the fourth or fifth speed is an explosion. Knowing that you can make any hill a subordinate hill is capable of choosing almost any path to your destination. Do you need to catch up or get rid of the car on your tail when you are late? Slam the speed and let it tear it apart. It’s really a feeling of joy.
