Hyatt members can earn and redeem points on African safari tours

Going on an African adventure is a dream trip for many travelers. While there are many ways to earn or redeem points while traveling, your options are relatively limited.
Fortunately, there is now a new option. World of Hyatt members can officially earn and redeem points when staying at 15 luxury Asilia African Safari Camps in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, which are bookable through Hyatt’s partnership with Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

“Asilia shapes the face of luxury safari travel, blending thoughtful design, passion, genuine hospitality and a love and respect for wilderness,” Laurie Blair, Hyatt’s senior vice president of global marketing and loyalty, said in a release.
“We know that affluent travelers are increasingly seeking meaningful, measurable impact journeys. Asilia’s approach combines exceptional safari experiences with long-term investments in people and ecosystems to help keep these landscapes alive. So we’re excited to welcome Asilia to World of Hyatt through Mr. and Mrs. Smith, connecting members with experiences that inspire adventure, reflection and connection, while making them even more valuable.”
Here is a list of Acilia Africa safari camps available for booking through World of Hyatt:
- Kenya: Naboisho Camp (Maranaboisho Conservancy), Ol Pejeta Jungle Camp (Opejeta Conservancy) and Recro Camp (Maasai Mara Conservancy)

However, you will only earn 0.99 cents per point for this stay. TPG’s December 2025 valuation pegs the value of Hyatt points at 1.7 cents per Hyatt point, so you may want to earn Hyatt points rather than redeem them on these stays.
