Going into range is essential to improving your game, but I don’t always like this experience. If you’re as impatient as I do, it’s easy to overuse it, which can mess up your swing and invalidate the entire point. I’m not sure how helpful the Garmin’s pint-sized boot monitor would be, but once a trip came, I was sold. It took a few seconds to pair it with your phone and once I figured out the basics of the app, I quickly got rid of it. The device automatically and (mainly) accurately tracks your ball, even in twilight. You can set it to videos for each swing, and the included phone mount allows you to easily monitor each lens and adjust the camera angle.
Virtual games bring real fun, which offers a mobile simulator experience that is reminiscent of top golf balls (if there is no donut hole). Free services are fun, but avid players hope that subscriptions can unlock thousands of virtual courses and store videos in the cloud. You can even scale to projection-based emulators with third-party applications such as Awesome Golf. Like the game itself, the R10 isn’t a cheap business, with its micro USB charging ports that are old and always take up. Otherwise, this little kick rack is a killer add-on to the virtual course experience, which makes practice almost as fun as real things.
