I thought defensive coach Joe Whitt’s quote was great.
Your online presence will help you find a great job
Quotes from a former Green Bay Packers defensive coach. He is now with the Atlanta Falcons, and Joe Witt Jr. hopes you help. Talk about preparation for interviews and why it is so important.
He didn’t completely say the interview, but it translated beautifully. So, let’s start today. So tomorrow we’ll go back to episode 1800.
I was listening to a podcast this morning. I listened to a podcast. This is a sports show, Simms and Lefkoe.
They mentioned a quote from a man named Joe Witt. He is a coach who handles defensive pass games and quarterbacks for the Green Bay Packers. Now, I want to talk to you in the context of this sentence to understand its meaning as a job seeker.
Understand that football is a violent game. it is known. People hit each other at amazing speed.
He said you can’t tell the difference between a confused player and a coward because they both move slowly. Wow! Because you move slowly, you look like a coward. Now, let me translate for you.
When you don’t know what you’re doing, when you don’t know the drama, you don’t go all out. The result is that you look like a coward in a similar situation. They both emerge from the outside like the same type of people.
But in one case, it is due to fear. In another case, I just don’t know much about what I’m doing. Let us ask for help as job seekers, you are being interviewed and you are not ready yet.
You have not viewed the LinkedIn profile of the person you met. You did nothing to rehearse the answers to predictable questions you will be interviewed for. Since you have arranged an appointment, you have not viewed the job description.
So, this isn’t new in your mind. You haven’t watched my video on the best questions to ask in any interview. I think this might be called the best question you should ask in any interview.
You know nothing except how to talk about what you do. In this regard, you will look no different from everyone else. How do you stand out in this situation? You are not ready yet.
You don’t know the drama. So I want to encourage you that before you have an interview, you have to rehearse the answers to the predictable questions you will be asked so that in this way you don’t look like everyone else walking on the door trying to figure things out as they keep moving forward. Your belt is well prepared and can be delivered and executed at a high level.
Now, if you want to watch more of my videos, you can visit Jobsearchtv.com, which goes directly to my YouTube channel. I have thousands of videos about job search elements there. You can also sign up for JobsearchCoachinghq.com. There you will have a selection of materials, which is my best thing to help you find a job.
And, more importantly, if you contact me for coaching, I can be fully prepared for you. We can conduct mock interviews, whether they are standard interviews or case interviews, which can help you perform well. So don’t look unprepared.
Not sure what your knowledge is, because you are just not ready for an interview. Rehearsal time is so important. Practice time is so important.
You have to do this or you will make it more difficult for yourself.
