Are you currently looking for a job? Have you ever asked a question: “What are your interests in opening up this job?” During the interview? If so, you are not alone. This is a common problem faced by many candidates, and unfortunately, it is often the wrong answer.
Hi, I’m Jeff Altman, also known as the Big Hunter. I have seen it all in job interviews for over 40 years in finding leaders and employees for organizations. Today, I want to share with you some insights on how to answer this question: “What are your interests in opening up this position?” in the right way.
Simple part
On the surface, answering this question seems simple. You can easily list four or five different things you like about the job. However, the difficult parts are often overlooked – show enthusiasm and passion. Many candidates forget to show their excitement when talking about work, resulting in a relatively flat response.
Show your passion
Rather than just listing why you are interested in your work, it is important to convey your passion and enthusiasm. Imagine if you were asked this question and you answered something similar: “What am I interested in opening this job? It’s great to have three or four different things!” When you answer, try to speed up the speech, brighten your eyes and smile on your face. It’s not only about what you say, it’s about what you say.
Theater for interview questions
Answering interview questions is like being on the theater stage. You want to attract audiences and leave a lasting impression. In response, “What are your interests in opening up this job?” Theater is just excitement. You want to exude joy in your voice, making it clear that you are really excited about the opportunity.
Decisive game
Believe it or not, your passion can usually be a fight between you and the competition. Hiring managers want to see candidates who are really excited about the job. So by showing your passion and excitement, you can distinguish it from other candidates who may have similar qualifications.
in conclusion
All in all, when asked a question: “What are your interest in opening up this job?”, it is important not only to list the reasons you are interested in, but also to express your enthusiasm and enthusiasm. Remember, answering interview questions is like being on the theater stage – you want to make a lasting impression. So let your excitement shine in both voice and body language. By doing so, you can increase your chances of standing out and landing in that dream job.
Why job search becomes difficult in 2024
On the surface, you can list 4 or 5 different things you like about this work. Here is a simple part of this answer. The difficult part is that people forget to show enthusiasm and passion while speaking. So they speak in a relatively flat manner.
Instead, if you answer, “This job is interesting to me? 3 or 4 different things are really exciting.” Then you go to the list. Speeding up the words, making your eyes excitedly strengthen, and a smile on your face as you speak…it’s not just what you say is the importance of how you answer this question.
There is a theater that answers interview questions, well, the theater here is about excitement. When you answer questions, you just want to be fun in your voice. That way, people know you’re excited about the job. Usually, this is the finale between you and your game.
