Peter Ferguson’s fantasy painting returns with “Skip when held”

The painter Peter Ferguson returned to the Roq la Rue gallery with “Skip When Holding”, which blended his sensitivity with Dutch Renaissance notes, Lovecraftian creatures, and more. The show lasts until January 25 in the space, bringing new oil paintings to the space. Ferguson appeared on our website for the last time.

“Combining the grand narrative of the great era of exploration with the stark paranormal phenomena, Ferguson’s work subtly wanders between fantasy, surrealism and realism without completely falling into either of them,” the gallery said. “Norman Rockwell encountered hp lovecraft. Drawn and complex in his work, his paintings are made of built-in patina to evoke the feeling of long lost magical works found in the dusty corners of the library of some old gentlemen’s adventure furniture clubs.”

See more information on the artist’s website or gallery page.
