A teacher asked a little boy, “If I give you two mangoes and then give you two more mangoes, how many mangoes will you have?” He answered “Five”.
So she was a little surprised and asked him again, helping him count with her fingers. She went, how many more mangoes did you come? He left, “Five!”
So she was annoyed by him and said, “Well, if I gave you two strawberries and then two more strawberries, how many would you have?” Of course, this time she was angry and said, “Okay, we’re back on track.” Now, if I gave you two mangoes and then two more mangoes, how many would you have? He left five.
Now she was confused and said, “How is that possible?” He said, “I have another one in my schoolbag.”
Don’t judge people and their answers so quickly. OK?
