Legoland Malaysia with children – Unicminds

Legoland is a Lego-based theme park suitable for kids of all ages to spend their time. Located in Johor, Malaysia, Legoland is a wonderful venue for children and families to spend a whole day of fun. In this post we will see the best rides and everything you need to enjoy your trip in Legoland, Malaysia.

There are eight topics in total, classified under these topics. The age and height of each ride are limited to certain rides. However, the height limit for most rides is only 80 cm. Therefore, a lot of fun is planned for the kids.

At the entrance

There are plenty of games, live shows, lucky draws, shooting and victory, courts and photo opportunities at the entrance. This sets the tone for your visit. Filled with dragons, ninjas and tap water, as well as a series of rewards for kids of all ages, Legoland Malaysia is a place to have fun with the kids.

LEGO Technologies

An area designed for those who want a quick and exciting feeling. There are multiple rides like the Big Lego Racing, Wave Racer and Tornado Twist. The minimum height of these rides is 105 cm in March 2025.

Lego Kingdom

Area designed for children. The children are filled with dragon tours and ancient legends from various kingdoms, and they can explore castles, bridges of crosses, fight with knights and play royalty. Highlights of the area are Dragon Apprentice and Dragon Coaster. If you need rest as a parent, then you can head to the Forester’s Cave, which is the rest for parents to breathe.

Lego City

The minimum height requirement for most rides is 86 cm. Some of the best rides are fire trucks, boating schools and shipyards for climbers and crawlers. The theme is based mainly on general life and transportation.

Lego Milan

Everything looks cute when the size is reduced! Mini Land displays all major cities in Asia in miniature size. 30 million LEGO bricks were used to rebuild 17 major Asian landmarks. This is a must-see and must-see area for Lego Land.

Lego Adventure

Another amazing area for children – the land of dinosaurs and Faroes. Adventure Land has multiple amazing rides, most popular is Dino Island, a huge water slide that can reach 130cm and above. The Beetle’s Bounce and Lost Kingdom adventures are some of the other rides, with height limits of 80 to 90 cm. Pharaoh’s Revenge is a play area for the children, and some game time can be explored through climbing structures and soft ball shooting.

Lego’s imagination

Designed for smaller children with height limitations, Imagination has multiple kids riding, such as mini trains, power towers that can be up and down, and built and tested, Lego pools, and more.

Lego Ninja

Without ninjas, nothing in Malaysia has to do with children. Ninja is a terrifying 4D ride composed of fire, earth, water and lightning, and is an indispensable ride for children. The minimum height for this ride is 80 cm. The area also features rock climbing and Ninja General entertainment and shops.

Lego Land Malaysia Aquarium

Stunning marine life displays 130 species and over 13,000 species. It has an ocean tunnel and seahorse enclave, which is essential. However, visiting the aquarium will require a different ticket.

Things a family wants to bring

It may be hot on Lego land and all the water is wet. So bring an umbrella, hat, sunscreen and casual footwear. Please bring dry bags and small bags to easily manage your wet and other clothes. If you want to use it for some water rides to avoid getting wet from splashing water, but this can also bring a light pullover, but that’s the fun of these rides! All rides are open between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Restaurants in Lego Land, Malaysia

The place is full of seating areas, snack bars, a variety of gourmet restaurants and food for easy dining with family and friends.

Children under 3 years old will enter for free, and bookings will need to be made at least one day in advance. International tourists, as long as Malaysian citizens and long-term residents enjoy a 20% discount on their Legoland tour tickets. Other deals, Legoland midweek savers offer on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and so on.
