Chase confirms refreshing sapphire reserves, new business card is about to be launched

There are rumors that the day is coming soon.
Chase confirmed on Monday that it will launch a new Chase Sapphire Reserve® card and a brand new sapphire reserve card in the coming weeks.
The official schedule is “This Summer”, which begins on Friday, June 20.
The issuer launched a marketing campaign around New York City on Monday to make fun of the new card, and also took advantage of this social media channel to show pictures of the newly designed Sapphire reserve card, which certainly looks much higher than the existing version.
Chase may be ready to make all the buzz around summer trips when the summer starts, especially since the card design is finalized, but we have to wait and see, but we have to see when the card actually comes out.
Additionally, issuers won’t tease further details about changes to the popular sapphire reserve card, nor will they mention the changes brought about by the Sapphire Reserve business card – but if you keep following the rumors, you might be ready for some big changes.

First, all indicators point to increasing annual fees. Currently, Sapphire Reserve charges an annual fee of $550, but refreshes tend to charge.
Of course, we have to wait and see all the details to see if the reserve fee will exceed the annual fee on Capital One’s top credit cards (Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Cardet Carder Credit Card) and American Express ($395 for American Express) and American Express ($695 for PlatinumCard® $695 for American Express; see Price and Fees; see Price and Fees).
We also see a trend in which Chase and other issuers renew their cards with new lifestyle privileges and declare credit limits to offset the increase in spending, and we will find out faster than whether the strategy is a core part of this refresh and new card issuance later.
For those currently holding a sapphire reserve or considering registering a new one, I suggest you wait for the chase to announce what to do before taking any action. Card issuers usually give users at least a few days, considering new benefits before making major changes, and I would be surprised if Chase announced a new card without giving any attention to existing users.
New cards may also introduce new welcome bonuses, so we will keep our eyes open to see Chase’s sleeves this summer.
