For many people today, slackness is strange

If Slack is a little weird to you today, you are not alone.

In Mashable, the Business Chat application is not entirely inadequate for us, but even after a restart, some channels and messages won’t load.

A quick look at the digger shows that there were a lot of problems this morning (Disclosure: Ziff Davis owns Mashable and Downdetector.) Slack’s own official status page shows that some users have difficulty loading Slack and the message does not work properly.

“Some users may experience problems, especially loading content in threads and activity views,” the company wrote in the event report. “We are still actively investigating this issue, but we don’t have any new information to share at the moment. Thank you for sticking with us for continuing to work on the issue.”

We will promptly notify you of any updates about this issue. Meanwhile, we want to remind you that this is a good excuse to tell your boss that you simply can’t work because Slack is lowered (though it doesn’t work for me, I still have to write this).
