Is it a professional or a predator’s connection request?

Jeff Altman, Big Game Hunter

I share a lot on LinkedIn so I’m trying to connect with the creep and crowdless goal that wants to leverage my me. Of course, there are a lot of honest people, but this is not an interesting post.

I’m often asked how to spot scammers on LinkedIn, there’s no foolproof way to do this.

As a result, I tend to be free to accept connection requests except for the podcast promoters and those targeting coaches.

But when someone shares my suggestions and their posts, their job is great for me and I should send them a connection request, my BS detector will be like you too. “I have a job opportunity that is consistent with your background. It’s time-sensitive, so please send me a connection request (or accept mine) as soon as possible so I can check if your expertise is urgently looking for with my recruitment contacts.

Looking forward to the connection! ”

Always, their profile is somewhat “closed”, like there is this request. After all, they can see your profile. Why emergency connection? Maybe they have 2 connections, although their profile claims to have a lot of experience. Maybe they live in smaller outer islands in the United States

Over the years, people from different Asian countries have sent connection requests with profiles with images with aquamarine background images.

The most recent graduated from Harvard University in 2014, and has recruited 19 years of blue-collar experience for Harvard University from 2014 to now. certainly.

I then used my favorite BS detector, Google Lens, and found images that belonged to the scholars online. . . Exactly the same picture. Right-click on the LinkedIn profile picture to view what the camera returns. If it is fake, report it to LinkedIn and block the person.

Another approach is to respond only to people who have already verified their identity, because in doing so, they have to submit their identity files for verification.

I hope this is possible, but I know it is not, LinkedIn is about identifying and eliminating boredoms on its platform, not law enforcement can protect us from every crime. We must also assume some responsibility to protect ourselves. I know these are simple and everyone can do it.
