Early JMW Turner paintings are for sale for £300,000

One of JMW Turner’s earliest oil paintings will be for sale, estimated at £200,000 to £300,000.

After 167 years of absence in public display, Ascending array It will be on display in Sotheby’s London before it will be sold on July 2 later this month. The sale coincides with the 250th anniversary of Turner’s birth.
