Sangath Studio Sangath designed the dream home from Terracotta and recycled bricks from India – Huge

Situated on the Rolling Alloa Hill near the Sabarmati River in Gandhi Nagar, India, Sangath once conceived a bold modern home in the use of Terracotta and recycled bricks. The project, led by leading architects Khushnu Panthaki Hoof and Sönke Hoof, is a peaceful retreat whose owners can reconnect with nature and host visitors, artists and filmmakers in an environment that is beneficial to creativity.
The corner arches, stairs, balconies and interior surfaces of the building are constructed using compressed bricks made from powdered waste produced in brick kilns. “The design takes precedence over harmony with nature, with an open inner courtyard that paints the landscape inside and frames the view from all angles,” the studio said, exploring more projects on the company’s website.
