Hi, I’m Jeff Altman, the big hunter. I’m called a big game hunter because I direct people to play their professional and personal games big. Please forgive the delayed voice and audio.
It seems to be just a bit off. So I apologize. I’m not sure what’s going on.
But again, please accept my apology. Shark tank, great performance. But there is an interesting paradox that keeps coming up again and again.
The paradox is that investors want entrepreneurs and startups to do their best. You know, we don’t want part-time timers. We won’t invest in someone part timebecause we don’t think it works for us.
But for them, they manage risks. They won’t make a deal unless they believe they can take out the money. Then what did you take away from it? For you, as an entrepreneur, for you as a startup, you have to consider Plan B because you have to mitigate your risk.
You have to check your situation, maybe as a side job or Side hbecause the nickname now is where you have other income. Because often, when people enter new businesses, their work is not going well, and what are their backup positions? How do they get rid of what they want to get instead of betting on the farm? Because Lord knew that Shark Tank investors were not betting on the farm. Mark Cuban didn’t push all the chips to the center of the room and bet on one person, right? He tried to see that they were all trying to see that they were getting the money back, and it was a risk worth taking.
At the end of the day, great investor Mr. Weird, you may not like his structured deals, it doesn’t matter. But the lessons there are time and time again, I want to take my money away. He knew very well.
Others don’t know much. They want to make money, but they don’t take risks. You can’t take risks, either.
