iPhone is your karaoke microphone in Apple Music Sing on TVOS 26

Apple’s new TVOS 26 has a really cool feature that you might missed the WWDC opening keynote in yesterday’s news attack.
If you are not familiar with it, Apple Music Sing is a feature on Apple Music on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV 4K launched in 2022 that allows you to sing with lyrics of songs.
So far, the feature is not particularly advanced. It boils down to the ability to reject the vocals of a song when reading lyrics in real time.
The top story of chaos
However, in TVOS 26 just now as developer Beta, Apple sang further in several new features. Most importantly, you can now use your iPhone as a handheld microphone and amplify the sound and copy it with the music. Yes, like a real karaoke meeting.
Others can join the iPhone as well, as long as they have iPhone 11 or later, run the latest iOS.
For iPados 26, Apple invented something called “Windows”
You can sing even if you don’t know the language. A feature called lyrics translation and pronunciation will guide you. It only works with selected songs and a handful of languages; check out the beautiful print here for a full list.
