On Tuesday, JW Marriott opened the door to its latest resort, JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa. JW Marriott’s luxury property portfolio is located in Marathi Beach near the town of Chania, the brand’s first location on Crete.

Every room, suite and villa in this Mediterranean beach resort has panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, a natural design aesthetic that blends with the rough coastline and shaded terraces. Several rooms also have private pools from which guests can further absorb the sea view.
The overall resort design includes a variety of forms of natural materials and sustainability, including geothermal and solar systems, heat recovery in hot water air conditioners, and irrigation using treated grey water.
The hotel also has four pools, including an adult-only pool and a family pool. For the ultimate relaxation, guests can visit the Anoseas Spa, a full-service spa featuring “traditional Cretan Healing Rituals with modern immersive therapy”.

In addition to five treatment rooms, spa guests can also use the spa experience and a beauty room. All guests have access to the hotel’s yoga deck and fitness center.
JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa features six dining options, from Cretan’s fire restaurant Anoee to Sea-Toble Onalos and Mediterranean-style Fayi. Guests can also visit the grandson next to the swimming pool. EEXI of wine, cocktails and mussels; and JW Market Cafe. All six dining concepts use the brand’s iconic JW Garden, which serves native herbs and vegetables to the resort’s restaurants.

How to book JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa
Bookings for JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa are now open. The first available date currently displayed on the hotel website is July 1st. Prices fell to $325 a night for a selection of nights this fall. Marriott Bonvoy members can book award nights starting at 44,000 per night.
