Google forces Pixel 6A update, which will reduce battery capacity

Often, you’ll expect improvements when smartphone manufacturers announce software upgrades. However, a new update to Google’s Pixel 6A device will actually reduce the phone’s battery power. Knee: Software updates will be mandatory, which means that some pixel 6A owners must install it.
Google certainly doesn’t do it for entertainment. The company believes the problem is the risk of overheating of the pixel 6A battery.
The silver lining is that not all Pixel 6A owners are affected; Google will contact those in July.

What we know about Google Pixel 10: Rumors leaked August launch date
“A part of the Pixel 6A phone will require a mandatory software update to reduce the risk of potential battery overheating. This update will enable the battery management feature to reduce battery capacity and charging performance. The battery reaches 400 charging cycles. Next month we will contact affected customers and all information with them to resolve the issue.”
Reduced charging speed and battery capacity aren’t ideal, but it’s certainly more than the phone captures, and that’s what happened to several Pixel 6A owners in the past few weeks.
