Jeff Altman, Hunter, encourages you to endorse on LinkedIn to get LinkedIn.
How do I keep contacting or information after an interview with LinkedIn?
It’s a way to really stand out.
It is understood that there are many recruiters using a product called LinkedIn recruiters in companies and third-party recruiters to identify candidates on the network. What we are doing is to evaluate skills there, (1) Search engines optimize your profile with keywords that may be used as part of the work you do, which is a big part of what you may become visible. Another way to stand out is to receive endorsements.
You can ask your entire network to endorse you, but, frankly, when you do, you look like Mooch. I would like to suggest you lend a helping hand by giving recognition. Remember the old saying: “Give more. Get more.” Give recognition, especially for people who know you so that they can make money through the relationship will help you get a recognized reward.
What I want to say is reciprocity because I don’t give recognition because I really don’t know what you’re doing. I won’t sit next to you. I’m the coach. I’ve recruited it. If I give it, people will believe that your full list of acknowledgments is false! Supplement people.
You will find that your number of endorses will increase. Knowing that recruiters and employers are biased against passive candidates, you will look like their superiors by having a lot of recognition. After all, when you think about it, when you look at my LinkedIn profile and see that I’m recognized by a weird time for one property or another, there’s a message, especially if you notice that the average recruiter may be less than 20.
My work stands out because people have seen it and love it. Look for the same thing, but give it to get it.
