Break the conditions to keep mediocre

Jeff Altman, Big Game Hunter

When I grew up, people usually ended their conversation with someone by saying “easy and relax”, as if that was supposed to be something a person should do. This is a statement without thinking, like answering the question “How are you?” and saying “OK”. This is a habitual answer that encourages average. When I think of average, the first synonym that comes to mind is “mediocrity.” Why do you want to encourage someone to be mediocre? However, millions of people still end the conversation every day in this “encouragement” or similar ways.

In our society, mediocrity is rewarded in too many workplaces. If you are willing to settle in an average position, you will find that many people will reward you for this. But if you want to do more and better than that, you have to act on something you think about something differently and challenge traditional thinking and actions in the world. I think it is important to learn how to get rid of the chain of average life and life as a special person, not just another gear in the machine.

Do you want to be content to be considered a “team player”?

Teamwork is very important in every workplace, but what happens often is that people let go of their motivation and become the best, and try to be a “team collaborator.” They develop the habit of putting others first, followed by their own ambitions. . . Or later. In this case, mediocrity is rewarded. You can be a team player and an individual at the same time. It is possible to help others and make them look good without letting their talents and abilities be ignored and still be the best. Make your colleagues, boss/manager and leader look good while still being leaders of your peers.

Even if you don’t like it, always do your best.

The best effort is what all bosses and managers want from employees. But what happens often is that people give up on this promise and let themselves do less than they can, just because they don’t want to do it. You may think you don’t have the energy or enthusiasm to do your best, but you still have to focus on trying. Even if you don’t like it, you should always do your best because if you don’t do it, you will disappoint yourself and others. You let your boss or manager down while letting the job suffer. Don’t let mediocrity gain a foothold in your workplace. Always do your best and don’t surrender.

Better perform well, do well, and do all the “world-class” things

If you need to do a good job, then your job is wrong. There is a big difference between doing something great and doing something “good enough”. Doing something great means exceeding your “minimum expectations.” No errors, no flaws, and no room for improvement. If you do something good enough, it usually means doing enough to achieve it. Sometimes people cut corners and make mistakes along the way. If you want to be great, you need to do something “world-class”. This means you’ve already thought about it, took the time and put in the effort to make the results very good.

Fame and money are one of the important things, not the only things.

Fame and money should not be the only things you work hard on in your life. You need to have a goal, a vision, and willing to focus on the mission of life. There are things that will drive you every day. Unfortunately, many people focus on fame and money as their driving force, as well as the ultimate content with banality. Fame and money are one of the things society restricts us to look for, but they shouldn’t be the only thing driving you. Find something important, give it meaning, and follow them. In fact, the motivation for fame and money may ultimately prevent you from realizing the meaning you have found in your life.

Everyone’s work can be a stepping stone, not a burden to bear.

One of the biggest things people think are that their job is a stepping stone to something bigger and better. Unfortunately, many people don’t go beyond boring or boring jobs to help them choose this career. They are troubled by their work and what they do routinely, and settle down is mediocre and never walk above their own position. People are plagued by their salaries, titles and grindings that prevent them from taking the next step because managers and leaders see them only as good soldiers or actors, not as someone with a rise. If you are in such a situation, you must make a conscious choice to get rid of the hallucination of being trapped and take the steps forward. Leadership and management often need to be re-written to be different from you. Overall, you need to think and act differently about your work and work. Think of your work as a stepping stone, not something that gets you in trouble and prevents you from moving forward. Start training others to differentiate from your “graining work” and thus make it different for you. Instead, pushing is more strategically responsible.

First change yourself.

If you want to change the world, you need to change yourself first. You need to look at and ask about the changes you need to make in your life. It is usually easier to start with something you control. You don’t have to change everything about yourself, but you need to change someaveage Stop your progress. Ask yourself, “Who do I want to be? What do I want to do? Why is this important to me, let alone other people?” It may take time to change your attitude, your vision for the future and what you make you back off. First think about life in a different way and be willing to embrace change. Ask yourself, “What’s the possibility now? What should I do today to push the needle forward?”

You can change the world anywhere.

Look inward > Let your actions and attitudes spill over to the rest of the world. You don’t need to be the CEO or leader of some huge companies to change the world. You can use your own stuff, where and what you know. There are things you need to provide around the world. They may suffer or need what you know and what you are going through. Many people can help them not meet. Some people need shoulders to cry, a friend listens to them, or helps through the tough times. You can change their lives. You can be their light in the darkness.

If at first, you didn’t succeed, try again until you do so.

Success may not come overnight. You may have to try things a few times in a few different ways, and then you and others have different experiences about your own. You may have to let go of something and start over with a new way. You may have to go the wrong way before you find the right path. You may have to make mistakes and learn from them to succeed. You may have to go through trial and error before you get there. But if you keep trying and keep moving forward, you’ll get there. . . final. Even if things get tough, even if you are not sure if you are doing it right, keep trying.

Most importantly: Society has taught us many things that help it function smoothly, but has made us feel banal and unfulfilled in our lives.

We have the conditions to believe that we are not enough, and we are not worthy of greatness and success because it is easier to control people. If we let go and make ourselves great, there may be more competition to reach the top, which may make our lives more “complex”. But until now, I have been doing what I have been doing and have been unsatisfied with it. You can be great, not subject to mediocre attitude.
