Prioritized membership has long been a valuable privilege included in certain travel reward cards. There are now more than 1,700 priority pass lounges worldwide, and the lounge network is still growing.
While priority passing membership is a benefit as a select high-quality credit card, you won’t be able to access the Priority Lounge by simply showing your credit card. Instead, you need to sign up for a credit card before you start visiting your Priority Pass Lounge location.
Although some lounges accept digital cards, some require a physical card, so if possible, you need to register your card well before your first lounge visit.
Fortunately, registering your card is a relatively simple process that can be done online or issued a card by calling. Let’s browse the steps you need to take so you can start enjoying priority passing membership. Selected benefits require registration.
American Express
Once you have logged into your AMEX Online account, you will need to make sure that the correct card is selected. As you can see from the upper right corner of the image below, I am currently viewing the page American Express Platinum Card® – But multiple other AMEX cards also offer priority pass voter qualifications.
Click Benefits and Rewards to see all the privileges that come with your card.
Considering the enormous privileges Amex Platinumthe annual fee is $695 (see Fees and Fees), and you may have to scroll down a little until you find the “American Express Global Lounge Collection”.
From there you will see a full description of the incredibly comprehensive lounge that this visit brings Amex Platinumincluding access to the Amex Centurion lounge and Delta Skyclubs while flying Delta*. Please note that you can also register for priority pass by by dialing the number on the back of a qualified American Express card. Registration required for select benefits; terms apply.
If you add a platinum authorized user to your card, they must make a call on the back of the card to register for priority.

Bank of America
The only credit card that Bank of America provides priority access to the lounge is Bank of America PremiumRewards® Elite Credit Card. The neat privilege about this card is that it offers up to four free priority passes through the selection of membership, one suitable for cardholders, and then offers up to three memberships. To register, simply visit the Bank of America’s priority page to start the registration process.

Capital One
To activate Priority Pass Membership with a qualified Capital One card, such as the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, visit the Capital One Priority Pass page to begin the registration process.
Venture X Card offers priority pass membership to key card holders and authorized users, who can recruit two guests each time they visit the Priority Pass Lounge. However, the free lounge for additional card members will end on February 1, 2026.
If you are an account holder, you can also follow your Capital One Priority Pass welcome email to link from the link. Next, you will enter the 16-digit Venture X card number and click Submit.Please be sure to choose your country of residence to continue. The next few tips will ask you to create an account by providing address and billing details (for identification) before clicking Join.Once you sign up, log in to your account by priority through the website or mobile app to access the list of qualified lounges and view your digital membership card.
Chase
Activate priority through membership with qualified chase cards, e.g. Chase SapphireReserve® (See Rates and Fees) You need to make sure you are in the final rewards area of the Chase website. Then, you need to click on the card you want to register.
Now, click on “Ca Benefits” in the upper left corner.
Scroll down until you see the box with all the benefits of the cards. Click on Travel to view the box for Free Airport Lounge Access. As you can see, I’ve activated my membership – but if you don’t, click the Activate Now button and follow the on-screen instructions.
If you add an authorized user to your account before Activating priority online through membership, that user will also be registered. Otherwise, you need to call the number on the back of the card to pass the authorized user first. Selected benefits require registration.

Cloth
CitiPrestige® Card (applicants are no longer accepted), the only Citi credit card that offers priority passing membership is.
Regarding priority admission, it has the most customer-friendly policy. Citi Reputation Cardholders will automatically participate in the priority level so they can sit down and wait for the card to arrive at the mail. Select the registration required for benefits.

Bank of America
Bank of America Altitude® Reserve Visa Infinite® Card offers a 12-month Priority Pass Select Membership.
Each account can register a card member whose first four visits and four accompanying guest visits will be waived in the first priority passing membership year. Selected benefits require registration. You can log in to the Bank of America High Reserve Card Welfare website to register.

Bottom line
Valuable privileges such as airport lounge access are the easiest way to pay an annual fee of over $350 for premium credit cards, but if you forget to take advantage of them, math will start to be bad for you.
Register for your preferred membership for no more than five minutes, it can cause you the inconvenience of staying at the airport for a long time just realizing that you don’t have the lounge you expect.
