It’s one of the most attractive new airline seats in the world and will debut in the United States next month.
Starting in January, Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific will begin operating its new Aria Suites flights to the United States
This beautiful lie-flat business class cabin is currently available on the airline’s Boeing 777-300ER fleet and will appear on Cathay Pacific’s direct flights from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Hong Kong International Airport (HKG).
The news comes from Cindy Lam, Cathay Pacific senior vice president for the Americas, who spoke Wednesday at the Skift Aviation Forum in Fort Worth.

This is an exciting new development for travelers who can escape the eye-popping cost of a luxurious new onboard suite, or have enough miles to redeem across the Pacific.
Cathay Pacific Aria Suites: What you need to know
Cathay Pacific’s new Aria offerings include sliding privacy doors and a 24-inch 4K entertainment screen with optional Bluetooth headset connectivity (although the carrier also offers wired headsets). The suites also feature innovative and experiential amenities.
The airline also surrounds its seats with an impressive array of “soft products,” including luxury amenities such as Bamford bedding and first-class dining.
The airline’s 777 aircraft offer 45 enclosed suites spread across two cabins in a 1-2-1 layout so every seat has direct aisle access.

So far, the airline has only operated Aria-equipped aircraft on flights to Hong Kong from London and Vancouver, British Columbia (it started flying about a year ago).
But the company will switch the plane to flights next month from California’s Bay Area and “eventually” to other U.S. cities, according to Lin.
Itinerary details
Aria Suite will debut in the United States in early 2026. The service will be available on certain SFO-HKG flights starting from January 1st.
