Achieve smarter assessments and support learners’ motivation
Effective learning requires rigorous assessment and sustained momentum. These new features provide educators with scalable ways to evaluate advanced skills while helping learners stay motivated with timely feedback and milestones.

  • Questions raised by AI – Design open evaluation across articles, codes and video formats. AI-generated columns and automatic ratings save time and ensure fairness.

Maintain academic integrity
Employers want to learn to associate directly with the roles and tasks of the team – they need to demonstrate that these skills are transferred at work. This is why validation skills assessments are important: They show real mastery, not just course completion. Over the past year, we have improved the characteristics of academic integrity and since May we have lowered more than 15,000 exams, reduced opinions submitted by plagiarism by 90%, and reduced misconduct by 95% overall. We extend these tools to scale strict and consistency:

  • Coursera Proctoring & Locking Browser – In the Genai era, it was crucial that teachers must be able to monitor webcam, microphone and screen activity. Browser locking can limit access to external applications or resources, thus maintaining fairness in high-risk assessments.
  • Course information – The new curriculum material will make it easier for institutions to implement consistent integrity standards in their programs. These centralized settings enable critical academic integrity features to protect their learning and certificate credibility at a large scale.
