Is your Mac Mini refusing to start? Apple may fix it.

Apple has launched its Mac Mini service program to fix some Mac Mini units that refuse to start.
“Apple has confirmed that MAC MINI (2023) devices using M2 chips no longer have power. The affected devices were made between June 16, 2024 and November 23, 2024,” the company wrote on a support page released on Friday.
The owners of Mac Minis who show the issue are encouraged to enter the serial number of their devices into the form on Apple’s website to see if their Mac Mini is eligible for a fix. If so, Apple or Apple-authorized service providers will correct the issue for free.

Apple emphasizes that no other Mac miniboard is part of the program, which means that if you have an older or newer mini magazine, you probably won’t get a free fix.
Additionally, Apple said the program covers qualified Mac Mini units three years after the unit’s first retail sales.
The company did not elaborate on the reasons for the problems that affected the MAC mini.
New Mac Minis with M2 chips are no longer available for purchase on Apple. The company now sells Mac Minis using M4 or M4 Pro chips.
