“psyop”: The far-right conspiracy theory about Minnesota shooting evolved to protect Mecca

In a few hours Vance Boelter has been named suspect in the deadly shooting of Melissa Hortman, Democratic Minnesota Representative Melissa Hortman, her husband, Mark Hortman, far-right conspiracy and Republican influential claiming to be violent, left-wing Democrat.
“The far left is the murderous violence,” Elon Musk wrote on X on Saturday, and the post was still on the scene and was viewed more than 50 million times.
It is said that when the fact of the story emerged (the so-called shooter has been registered as a Republican in other states) was voted for President Donald Trump, who, as New York reported, participated in an evangelical education ministry where he preached against abortion and demonized the LGTBQ community – the accomplice theory did not stop. Instead, they just changed. The poster then claimed that the incident was a false flag carried out by the dark deep state while attempting to distance the shooter from any connection between the president and the broader magazine movement.
For years, the far right has tried to portray the perpetrators as leftists, members of Antifa, part of the LGBTQ community, or somehow connect with the Democrats, despite all the evidence that extremist violence is often exerted by the distant impt impt impt imper impright.
On Saturday, with alleged shooters hunting, the Conservatives almost immediately claimed that the suspect was somehow linked to Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, part of a Democrat targeting North Korea, who recently voted with the Republican Party in the Minnesota Legislature. Walz was re-appointed to the Workforce Development Commission in 2019. But there is no evidence that there is a closer connection between the two.
That didn’t stop the term “waltz appointment” from trending on Saturday’s X, with influencers on the right confidently declaring the alleged shooter as a Democrat.
“Has Walz been executed?” right-wing commentator Mike Cernovich wrote on X, citing an article from a famous conspiracy theory narrative that highlights Hortman’s vote with Republicans.
YouTuber Benny Johnson has nearly 5 million followers on video sharing sites and over 3 million followers on X, positioning the shooting as part of the X-left violence trend, a shaped X-left-left-screen on X, which describes the so-called shooter as “a appointment of the left-wing Tim Walz”.
Donald Trump Jr. “The people who committed these atrocities this weekend are Democrats who worked for Tim Walz.” Trump Jr.
David Carlson, who has known alleged shooters since fourth grade and described the 57-year-old as his best friend on Sunday, dismissing the alleged shooter who was a Democrat, told reporters Sunday that he “will be offended if people call him a Democrat.”
