ANA Will Take Award Winning Room Biz Class to 787 Dreamliner

The next generation of award-winning room business class will soon fly on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Japan’s Large Carrier All Japan Airlines announced Tuesday that it will bring its highly acclaimed room business-grade product to its growing fleet of 35 Dreamliners. (ANA still has 27 orders of 787.)
The news was announced at the Paris Air Show, where Anna showed off a model of the new seat, known as the Room FX.
The Room FX or “Future Experience” is a narrow and modern version of existing seats found in the selected Boeing 777-300ERS. ANA teamed up with seat maker and designers Safran and Acumen to further customize the product, as the Dreamliner’s cabin is narrower than the Boeing 777.
Perhaps the most eye-catching feature of the new seat is that it will be pre-limited, similar to the business-grade products on Finnair. You will be able to make a small amount of adjustments to the tilt to create a sofa-like configuration, but you won’t be able to fully customize the adjustments.
When on the bed, the adjustable Legrest can be raised to transform the seat into a flat bed, 76.5 inches long.
Other enhancements to Room FX products include additional charging options, including a QI wireless charging pad and USB-C port, as well as Bluetooth audio connectivity that pairs wireless headphones with a 24-inch 4K monitor.
Like existing room products, all seats offer a sliding privacy door that can be closed after takeoff.
The seats will be arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, which means every passenger will enjoy direct access. Seats will alternate between the forward and rear, and the Business Class will be distributed in two cabins on the ANA’s redesigned Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

There are six rows of seats in the front and rear cabins, with a total of 48 commercial stages.
All in all, the introduction of the room should be a major upgrade for the travelers flying on Ana’s Boeing 787. Although existing products offer direct aisle access, it is less roomy, spacious and modern than the room.
In addition to the new Biz Cabins, ANA will also introduce new premium economic and economic cabins in its Dreamliners. The cabin remodel was first announced in April and includes new Recaro recliners for two cabins.
Anna is expected to start revamping the jet in 2026. Please note that only Dreamliners flying on long-distance international routes will receive cabin upgrades.
