6.20 Friday Favorites – Fitnessista

Hi, friends! Happy Friday! Are you OK? Hope you have had a great week. Sorry for the cricket here this week – I only managed to make two posts as we lived in Seville for the last few days. One of my own biggest gifts during this long trip was that I wrote 12 blog posts before I left. It gave me the chance to really unplug and enjoy it, and now we are back home, it is back to daily work!

I am proud of myself because I have been parenting alone for almost the entire journey. The girls and I flew over the ocean to Barcelona and loved it a few days before our cruise, and after we cruised there, the Disney cruise took place, flew to Seville, where we stayed for over 4 weeks, and the pilots were able to join us in the past few days.

He is completing training since he returned to the airline and although we hope the timing of travel will be resolved, I haven’t exercised like this. Since he was leaving anyway, I went with the girls and I was so glad we did. They are older now, which makes things easier, but it’s definitely a trip to the core memory girl! I still have some posts in Spain, including some of my tips, Airbnb recipes, How to Travel with Zero Jet Lag, Gluten-Free Food Tours and Food in Barcelona, so stay tuned for these! If you have any questions about upcoming posts, please LMK!

Meanwhile, my brother here is the Air Hoodie (bless it) and I ugged with Miasey. I would love to hear what you do this weekend and what you do this weekend!

Some photos from last week:

An incredible dinner in Petra. This place won my favorite tortillas and I tried a lot there.

Pollo asado is also known as chicken man. We had a lot of Pollo Asado when we were in Sevilla because it was on the streets of Airbnb. They have chicken grilled and you just have to tell the guy, how much you want, he will get your chicken, cut it into dishes, then put it in a container and drizzle the juice from the grilled dishes with the juice. It’s $11 and is the best chicken. I will miss it!

The pilot did it! He finished his training, jumped into a seat and met us. He got there in time to hold a Father’s Day celebration in Isla Mágica, a water park and theme park. We are with four other families and all the kids (and adults) love it.

That night we walked to La Cabonería, a bar with live flamenco. We got there in time for the show. Very good! We enjoyed some Tinto de Verano and Amaaazing Flamenco.

Bullfighting rings and museums. While I will never participate in bullfighting, I am interested in seeing the museum and the important components of Sevillain’s culture and history.

cañabota. Spend a Lil Michelin Star Double Down Dive Night with Sam and Tony. The meal was epic. Everything is so fresh and ready. Recommended 10/10.

(The liquid in the glass at the far right is the “water pavilion”. This is clear, but the taste is exactly like a pavilion!)

My beautiful friend Sam! I’m glad our babies decided they will always be best friends when they were only 3 years old.

It’s time to attend the Friday party every week. Here I’ve shared some of my favorite findings this week and around the network. I always love hearing about your favorites, too, so yell at what you like in the comments section below.

6.20 Friday Collection

Fashion + Beauty + Random:

New clothes are discovered! Before we left, I grabbed this at Spain’s favorite multi-tier department store (my favorite multi-tier department store). The brand is maksu.

Applause to my western manicure. I was determined to keep it zero maintenance when we left, so I asked for the flowers + shadows that match my natural nails so they can grow. Technology nailed it. This is a 7-week increase, and you can see it only if you look closely. From a distance, they look pretty good.

Read, watch, listen:

Don’t forget to check out this week’s podcast episodes here to see why you’re not losing weight, even if you’re doing everything.

I watched four movies on my flight home! The story on the west side (The new version does go beyond performance, costume, choreography, actors), the new version The Father of the Bride (Super cute and fun), new snow White (I think despite the bad news/comments, this is good) Pearl Harbor (Can you believe I’ve never seen the whole thing???). After that my eyes burned, but it was something every 10 years, lol.

Fitness, health and delicious:

Back to my red light. It was great to use it again, and I felt instant energy boost. (Fitnessista saves you $260)

Make a famous pasta salad for Uncle E’s family dinner tomorrow.

Ordered this baking brush as it doesn’t have any metal bristles.

Make ice cream cakes as soon as possible.

Thank you very much for stopping on the blog today! Happy weekend, I will see you soon!

xoxo
