Today, I will talk to you about one of those tough interview questions. One of those brain trailers hedging funds often use when interviewing someone. This is the problem.
If we give you five and three gallons, buckets/jars, whatever the item is, how can you get four gallons.
Now, this is initially, I know when I first met this year a few years ago, I was a little “well, it should be easy” and I kind of surrounded it, but I figured it out in a few minutes. I want you to relax. So that’s it.
Take five gallons of water, pour in and fill three gallons. So now you have two of the five left. You have the whole three. What do you think you should do?
Pour out three. Now, you are not with two. Fill the three-gallon two gallons with two gallons. So far? So you now have two gallons in five cups and five gallons and pour water into three gallons, which means you have four gallons left in the five gallon jug. Remember, they didn’t tell you how to do it. They tell you “How do you do it?”
