Note Chase Sapphire preferred cardholder: Check if you receive a $50 Chase Travel Credit Offer

If you open Chase Sapphire Priority® Card (See rates and fees) Over the past year, you may have been waiting for unexpected travel snacks in your inbox.
On June 23, some cardholders (including myself) received targeted emails from Chase with “Introduction Points to Introduce Chase Travel.” While the title highlights Chase’s new point lift plan, a closer look showed a surprise: a one-time $50 credit for any purchases made through Chase Travel℠. (Yes, this is a supplement to the standard $50 annual hotel credit for the card.)
Who qualifies and what are these terms? This is a careful study of the details of the quote.
Who received the offer?
The targeted offer appears to be aimed at cardholders who have opened sapphire preferences in the past 12 months. If so, check your inbox. If you do receive a quote, you will have plenty of time to take advantage of it. Depending on the terms and conditions, a $50 credit can be redeemed for a Chase Travel reservation made from now until June 23, 2026.

How it works
To get credit, you must book a qualifying trip through Chase Travel Portal, which includes flights, hotels, car rentals and vacation packages. No minimum expenses or specific types of travel are required. You will automatically repay up to $50 by booking through Chase’s travel portal.
This offer is very flexible. Unlike some travel credits that are only available for hotels or require strategic timing, this can be used in any chase trip booking, including cheaper domestic flights and car rentals.
How is this different from $50 annual hotel credit?
If you are already Sapphire prefers Cardholder, you may know the card’s built-in $50 annual hotel credit, which applies every year when you book a hotel through Chase Travel.
The key difference here is that hotels recur every year and are only available for prepaid hotels. This new $50 credit is a one-time benefit for new card members and can be used for any chase trip booking, not just hotels.
