Samsung confirms unpacked streams on July 9

Updated Tuesday, June 24 at 8:31 AM ET – In a press release and video announcing its July 9 unpacked event, Samsung teased the “super experience is ready to unfold.” The company also said: “The next generation of galaxy devices are reimagining around a new AI-driven interface and built from breakthrough hardware to unlock its full potential. This future has unfolded and the best galaxy AI and Samsung crafts are about to be revealed.”

While this is not directly confirmed, that we will see the new Samsung foldable phone on July 9, we are sure that we will be officially introducing the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7.

Samsung’s next big announcement keynote is almost here.

The company confirmed in an email to Mashable that the next live stream opened by Samsung will be held Wednesday, July 9 at 10 a.m. ET. The event will be held in Brooklyn and as usual, you can watch it on Samsung’s website and YouTube channel when time comes.

Samsung teased the announcements that will “disclose the next evolution of Galaxy AI” and “the expanding Galaxy ecosystem.” Currently, everyone’s attention is focused on Samsung’s next-generation folding boards, the Z Fold 7 and the Z Flip 7. Although Samsung hasn’t confirmed that this is what we’re going to get, we’d be surprised if that’s not the focus of the event.

Samsung’s next-round folding board has leaked online like a wandering faucet recently. And, since Samsung usually launches new pleats at this time of year, it’s easy to assume that the new folding board will be unveiled during this unpacked period. There may also be other hardware announcements, but the folding volume is a big announcement that everyone expects.

“With AI leading the way, Galaxy devices are developing from reactionary smartphones to expected smart companions – changing the way we communicate, create and connect,” Samsung’s email said. This is the only expectation of our convective flow. In other words, there will be a lot of Galaxy AI conversations.

At least we have a date now. All that remains is waiting.
