How to transfer the chase point to Hyatt

You have many options for redeeming Chase Ultimate Rewards points. Typically, you can transfer it to the program’s 11 airlines or 3 hotel loyalty programs to get the most value.
My favorite and most commonly used chase transfer partner is World of Hyatt. So, this is the knowledge to transfer the chase point to Hyatt.
Chase SapphireReserve®: Earn 100,000 bonus points, plus $500 in ChaseTravel℠promotion credit, after purchasing $5,000 from account opening in the previous three months (see rates and fees).
Can you transfer your chase point to Hyatt Hotel?
If you have Sapphire Conservation Areathis Chase Sapphire Priority® Card (See rates and fees), Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business- (See rates and fees) or Ink Business First Choice® Credit Card (See Rates and Fees) You can transfer points from your final rewards account to choose your loyalty program for airlines and hotels. You can transfer the chase point to one of the programs in the World of Hyatt. So yes, you can transfer the chase point to the Hyatt.
Chase notes that Hyatt Point should appear in your account on the next business day, but it can take up to seven business days. In practice, I transfer to Chase almost immediately in my Hyatt account.

Chasing Hyatt delivery rate
Like all final reward transfer partners, Chase and Hyatt transfer rates are 1:1 and you have to transfer points in 1,000 increments. This means that if you transfer 10,000 Ultimate Rewards Points to Hyatt Hotel, you will end up with 10,000 Hyatt points.
Transfer bonuses theoretically increase transfer ratios; however, we have not seen transfer bonuses from Chase Ultimate Rewards to Hyatt World, and because the Hyatt bits are of high value, it is unlikely to see one.

When should you transfer your chase point to Hyatt Regency?
When I don’t have enough Hyatt points in my account to book a specific reward and don’t want to buy Hyatt points, I transfer the chase points to Hyatt points. I always compare the paid rate to the bonus tax rate and redemption point only, rather than booking paid accommodation when I get at least 2 cents worth.
There are two more considerations to keep in mind before moving the Chase point to Hyatt.
Should you redeem points to stay by chasing travel?
You can transfer your chase points to Hyatt Hotel and book a reward through Hyatt World. However, another way to cash out the Hyatt Hotel’s final reward points is to book your stay through the ChaseTravel℠ portal and redeeming the final reward points at checkout.
I usually avoid booking Hyatt Hotels with reservations via the Chase Travel portal, as these bookings usually don’t give me the elite income and benefits of Hyatt World (only through edited bookings from Chase Travel, allowing you to earn hotel points and elite benefits). However, some travelers may want to compare the points booked with the points cost of Hyatt instead of booking through Chase Travel Portal.

Can you win Hyatt points in another way?
Transferring chase points to Hyatt is not the only way to earn Hyatt points. If you need to quickly increase your Hyatt account balance, you can transfer your Bilt Rewards point to Hyatt Hotel or purchase Hyatt Point.
And, if you have more time to earn Hyatt points, you can increase your account balance by staying or using Hyatt Card. Here is the welcome information for two such cards:
- The World of Hyatt Credit Cards (See interest rates and fees): Earn 30,000 bonuses after spending $3,000 in the first three months of opening an account. Additionally, after opening an account that usually earns 1 bonus point (up to $15,000) from an open account for up to six months, you get a total of 2 bonus points per dollar for the first six months, with up to 30,000 bonus points.
- The World of Hyatt Business Credit Cards (See interest rates and fees): The world of spending $7,000 in the first three months of opening an account, earning 60,000 bonuses and Hyatt Explorer status (as of February 28, 2026).
So it’s a great way to accumulate a happy point while moving the Chase point to Hyatt, but it’s far from the only way.

Once you find the reward availability and decide to transfer your chase points to Hyatt is your best choice, and that’s how to do it.
Log in to your chase account and select your Sapphire prefers,,,,, Sapphire Conservation Area,,,,, Commercial sapphire reserves or Ink business priority account. I chose my sapphire preference account from which I can choose to “redeem” my points balance.
Select Travel in the top navigation bar and select Transfer Points to Partners.
Scroll down the loaded page until you see the hotel section. Click Hyatt’s tiles, read the information on the loading page, and click Transfer Points.
If you are in an authorized user’s account, you may need to select the user to transfer the point. After doing this, enter or confirm the world of the Hyatt account associated with that user and click Next.
Enter the number of chase points transferred to Hyatt and select Next.
Confirm the transfer details on the last page and submit your transfer request.

Bottom line
Moving the chase points to Hyatt Hotels is usually a great way to get good value from the final reward points. However, remember that every chase point you transfer to Hyatt is a chase point you cannot transfer to other final reward transfer partners. I recommend you keep your final bonus points until you are ready to book a bonus flight or night time. Then, once the availability is found and the redemption rate is high enough to justify using the final reward point, transfer your reward.
If you need more chase points, consider taking advantage of one of the welcome offers on the following final reward cards:
- Chatong Sapphire Reserve: Earn 100,000 bonus points, plus $500 in Chase Travel promotional credit, after purchasing $5,000 from account opening in the previous three months.
- Chase Sapphire Reserve: Spend $30,000 in the first six months of opening and earned 200,000 bonus points.
