After snapping up small luxury hotels in the world from Hyatt in February 2024, Hilton added a selection of SLH Properties to Spurts’ plans between June and September 2024. The initial addition was done, but SLH Properties continued to join regularly and leave the Hilton Honors program.
In February, we introduced it when Hilton Honors can book 30 SLH properties. However, since then, Loyalty Hall and frequent Miler have noticed that more SLH properties can be booked through Hilton’s honors (while bookings are no longer available on the platform). So, this is what you should know about the league and these recent moves.
SLH and Hilton Honors League
SLH is a range of luxury, often boutiques, hotels and resorts, with some of which decide to participate in the Hilton Honors. You can earn and redeem Hilton Honor Points on SLH properties participating in Hilton Honors.
Hilton Honors Members can also enjoy free Wi-Fi and free evening checkout at participating SLH properties when booking through Hilton (as appropriate). Hilton Honor Gold and Diamond Members will enjoy the available room upgrades and continental breakfast for themselves and enjoy an extra guest at the event SLH Hotel.

SLH properties participating in the Hilton Honors usually change regularly, usually without any big fanfare of the Hilton Honors. In the rest of this article, I will discuss some of the most famous new additions and departures recently.

Over the past few months, the following SLH properties can be booked through Hilton Honors:

- L’Auberge de Sedona, Arizona
- Masseria Palombara Relais & Spa in Oria, Italy
- Phaea Blue, Crete, Greece
- Rosso Hotel in Mexico City
- Sant’angelo Matera, Italy
- Tamarind Hill Resort and Villas in St. Mary’s Parish, Antigua and Barbuda
- Agora Hotel in Pano Lefkara, Cyprus
- Capital Hotels, Apartments and Townhouses in London
- Luxury mansion on the edge of the ocean in Brewster, Massachusetts
- The Moon Mansion in Tangchang, China
- Hotels in Milan
- Prince of London

Be sure to compare the bonus rate to the paid rate before booking any of these properties. Remember that TPG’s June 2025 valuation sets the value of Hilton points at 0.5 cents, so usually just want to redeem the Hilton points when you get over 0.5 cents of each point value.

SLH Property recently left Hilton Honors
Over the past few months, some SLH properties have left Hilton honors. These properties include:
- Casa Lucia, Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Grand Hotel Parker in Naples, Italy
- Taipei Hotels in Taiwan
- Hounds in Oakhurst, CA
SLH Properties can choose whether to participate in the Hilton Honors, so if they don’t think they’re getting enough value from the league, they may leave. However, Grand Hotel Parker, Hotel Eclat Taipei and Hounds Tooth Inn seem to have completely left the SLH plan, as none of these properties are currently on the SLH website.

Bottom line
It’s no surprise to see SLH Properties join and leave Hilton Honors. Therefore, it is best to regularly check the map of Hilton’s participation in SLH properties to see the current options in your upcoming travel destinations. I love the two SLH accommodations I had to date at Carrara Island in Nicaragua and Nanuku Resort in Fiji and redeemed a free night certificate at the SLH property later this year.
