Joshua is stolen – Boooooom! – Create *inspiring *community *art*design *music *movie *photo*project

The paintings of the artist Joshua were stolen. “The Stolen” is a Denver, though soon to be a Chicago painter, who grew up in a small town away from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he won the BFA. To be stolen, life in a town consists of certain characters and rituals. His work is to commemorate those imprints of his life experiences and to reconcile with his personal myth:

“My job is to try to consolidate what’s left after distillation and inevitable fictional memory. I’m interested in the slow, organic way we redefine things.”
