MRBEAST apologizes for YouTube thumbnail pulling AI tools, posting video

“I launched an AI thumbnail tool a week ago to help small creators create better thumbnails,” he said in the clip. “I thought people would be very excited about it, but I definitely missed the markup,” Donaldson said in a video post. “I read all your feedback and I’ve been thinking about it, so we just made some changes and I think you guys will find positive.”

Donaldson said ViewStats users will now find an online tip to commission human artists to design thumbnails instead of AI tools.
