Contour adds 2 routes to Dominican in the Caribbean

Beach travelers will have a new way to fly to Dominican in September in the Caribbean Sea.
The outline of the US regional airlines will connect to the new flight with Cyril E. King Airport (STT) on September 24 at Douglas-Charles Airport (DOM) in Dominican and will be held on September 24 on September 24.
Contour will drive 30-seat Embraer regional jets in 2-1 layouts on both routes. The airline offers free drinks and snacks on all of its flights.
Here are the details of the new route:
- DOM-STT: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, September 24th three times a week
- DOM-SJU: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Friday and Sunday, four times a week on September 25
Both new routes are available for booking via the outlined website or with a limited partnership with American Airlines on AA.com. However, bookings on the US website are only available for booking cash rather than miles.

The new outline flight is the latest flight from a new series of American Airlines services. Americans began linking the island with Miami International Airport (MIA) in 2021 and in February 2025 with United Airlines growing. And, in December, Bermudair’s new subsidiary Anguillair will be linked to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).
The profile also partially replaced the previously provided airline service by Silver Airlines, which was abruptly closed in June. Cirium schedule shows that Silver is flying to March.
Contour will compete with Caribbean airlines on the Dom-Sju route, but will be the sole operator on the DOM-STT route.
“This development strengthens connections within the region and improves visitors’ access to nationals and business travelers,” said Denise Charles-Pemberton, Dominican Minister of Tourism, Ports and International Transportation, in a statement. “We look forward to working with Contour Airlines as part of our ongoing efforts to support sustainable tourism growth and showcase Dominican natural and cultural products.”
