Walkeryan Bird Foundation – Aboriginal Art Appearsfeature
This grant supports Aboriginal artists from early careers who respect traditions as they shape the future of contemporary Aboriginal art. A $15,000 grant is awarded twice a year to provide artists with funding, mentoring and well-curated displays at a critical stage of its development.

The grant is open to Indigenous artists in the United States, its territory and Canada, supporting the completion of the proposed project and can be used for studio practice, exhibition, research or creative exploration. Qualified disciplines include 2D and 3D visual arts, time-based media, multidisciplinary arts, and contemporary traditional art.

Open the call: Focus (International)
Black and white photography reveals essentials in the exhibition at the Yellow Studio. From intimate portraits to sweeping the landscape, detailed summary to candid street scenes, Focus A collection of female artists who embrace the exquisite elegance and lasting appeal of black and white photography. Yellow Studio invites photographers to submit their black and white works, showing the lasting power of light, shadows, and composition for movement and inspiration. Charges $25.

The 16th Epson International PANO Award (International)
This panoramic photography competition is open for entries and offers over $50,000 in cash and prizes. There is a $18 entry fee.

Locust project opens the phone (International)
This public phone is designed specifically for project rooms for new, installation-based works for any medium that has never been introduced. Artists receive a $5,000 budget for materials, $3,100 in artist fees, and accommodation and travel.

Monastery Harris Fresco Fund (U.K)
This grant supports artists to create semi-permanent or permanent public murals or site-specific works in any medium. Artists or organizations producing public murals in the UK can receive up to £7,000 in funding

Grants

Queer | Art Lighting Grant (us)
The $10,000 grant is designed to highlight the existing work of a black trans female visual artist. Four finalists will also receive $1,250.

21C Artadia Award (St. Louis)
The 21c Artadia Award, founded in Louisville in 2021, marks the beginning of a long-term partnership that provides $15,000 in unrestricted funding annually to an artist living and working in the unique creative community where the 21c Museum Hotel is located. This year’s awards are open to artists based in St. Louis.

Axe Movie Fund (International)
Each year, the AXS Film Fund awards up to five creators, with a grant of up to $10,000 to assist with project completion at any production stage. The program is for creators of documentary production or non-fiction new media that are considered as media for people with disabilities, especially in underserved communities. No matter the background, it can be applied by all filmmakers.

Ellis-Beauregard 2025 Project Grant (Maine)
The Ellis-Beauregard Foundation will offer five $10,000 project grants to Maine artists working in all genres.

Artist grant from Liu Shiming Art Foundation (International)
Every year, the Liu Shiming Art Foundation selects up to five artists to receive a grant of $5,000 per year. Invite visual artists to work for at least two years (but not more than 10 years) to apply for support for current or new projects.

Important Influence Environmental Photography Grant 2025 (International)
Vitate Impacts offers a $20,000 grant to an established environmental photographer and a $6 $5,000 grant to emerging photographers from around the world. The funds are dedicated to developing documentary projects targeting environmental stories.
Deadline: September 15, 2025.

Craft Research Fund Grant (us)
The center’s handicraft awards range from $5,000 to $15,000 a year to support new and interdisciplinary research.

Adolf and Esther Gottlieb Emergency Grants (International)
The program provides one-time financial assistance to qualified painters, printmakers and sculptors whose needs are due to unforeseen catastrophic events and lack of resources to deal with this situation. Winners usually receive $5,000, up to $15,000.

Adobe Creative Residence Community Fund (Ukraine)
The Foundation Committee Visual Artists creates corporate projects in a rolling manner. Winners will receive between $500 and $5,000.

Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant (International)
The foundation welcomes applications from painters, sculptors and artists (including printmakers). Grants are intended for one year and range up to $50,000. The artist’s situation determines the size of the grant and will consider the history of professional exhibitions.

Residence, scholarships, etc.

Peters Valley Crafts Residence College (International)
The program is open to artists engaged in forging, ceramics, fibers, jewelry and fine metals, woods and prints. Residents spent two weeks or a month in a well-equipped studio to receive a stipend of $500 or $1,000 and provide housing. There is a $10 application fee.

Penglan School of Crafts (International)
In a creative or career, professional craft artists at critical moments are eligible for one year of project residence or three years of career transition residence. Housing and studio space are provided.

Jim Henson Foundation puppets live (US/International)
The Jim Henson Foundation and Eugene O’Neill Theater Center partners provide space and support for the annual residency, supporting artists/companies working in the final stages of the new work of the Puppet Theater. Residence is two to three weeks and can support up to 12 participants. Projects must be conducted in the United States, while the main artists must be American, but international applications are welcome. In addition to the right of residence, the artist will receive a $5,000 grant to help pay for the fees.

Women’s Studio Symposium Artist’s Book Residence Grant (International)
The artist’s book grant is an eight to ten weeks’ residence right for artists to produce limited edition books. The grant includes a $350 per week stipend, up to $1,000 for material, travel within the mainland, free on-site housing and 24/7 studio visits.

Polar Steam Antarctic Artist and Writer Program (International)
The show embeds artists and writers into the science team during the Antarctic or Southern Ocean deployments from 2026 to 2027. Selected applicants receive a stipend of $2,000.

UCROSS Residence (International)
Open to emerging and mature visual artists, writers, composers, choreographers, interdisciplinary artists, performing artists and collaborative teams, the program offers a $1,500 stipend, accommodation, dining, private workspace, and uninterrupted time.

Kyoto Resort (International)
Artists, curators and writers are eligible for this four-week retreat in Kyoto for research, exploration and inspiration. Selected applicants receive round-trip flights, a private bedroom and $800 to complement meals and local transportation.

Loghaven Artist Living (International)
Located on 90 acres of woodland in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loghaven Artisency provides artists with transformative experiences and ongoing post-live support. Artists must be at least 21 years of age and live more than 120 miles from Knoxville. There is a $25 application fee.

Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum Glass Box Residence (International)
This occupant provides the artist with space and time to experiment, explore and produce works in any medium. In addition to repaying travel, mileage and dining expenses, residents also receive housing and remuneration. The Woodson Museum of Art will cover the supply and materials for workshops, courses and outreach. The artist has access to the museum’s glass box studio 24/7 throughout the residence. There is a $25 application fee.

Grand Canyon Artist in Residence in 2026 (International)
The program is held in Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, open to artists who leverage contemporary, interactive, immersive and/or social engagement methods and focuses on climate resilience, environmental science, natural and cultural history, and historical interpretation and preservation. Residents receive accommodation, a stipend of $750 per week, a travel allowance of $250 and consumables up to $300. There is a $25 admission fee.

First People’s Fund 2026 Cultural Capital Scholarship (us)
The scholarship provides artists with a $10,000 grant and is committed to community outreach and cultural conservation through the arts. All applicants must be active internally and connect with their local or tribal communities.
Deadline: July 16, 2025 at 7:00 pm.

Full Color Printing Scholarship (Minnesota)
Selected artists will receive one year membership, namely Highpoint Center for Print Partner Print Stores, free classes and workshops, $500 stipend, mentoring, professional development opportunities and exhibition opportunities. The scholarship is for Minnesota artists from the Bipoc community.

Bemis Center Autumn Residence (International)
Featured Residence Artists Enjoy spacious private live/work studios in Omaha with a monthly allowance of $1,250 and a travel allowance of $750. Due to the limitations of the B2 visa (tourism/visit), international resident artists do not qualify for direct allowance payments but are eligible for repayment, up to qualifying fees of total allowances such as air tickets, ground transportation and dining.

Located in the heart of the Savannah Starland district of Arts Southeast Arts Southeast, ON ::View Artist lives in the heart of the Savannah Starland district, and provides artists with a free, high visibility studio space for artists to complete a new project, continue a process effort or conduct research and explore concepts, material, performance, performance and social practice. There is a $50 application fee.
Deadline: 11:59 ET on September 21, 2025.

Cooking artist living in cattle and pigs (International)
The program is open to anyone who uses food as a creative exercise and is divided into two parts: staying for 10 days in winter and having a public program in summer. Residents receive accommodation, a $350 travel allowance, a $200 material budget and $1,500 artist fee.
