Other high-quality MagSafe accessories
The accessories below aren’t as good as the preferred ones in this guide, but they’re still a great option if you’re looking for more MagSafe widgets.

Belkin iPhone Mount with MagSafe is $30: Using Apple’s Continuity Camera feature, you can use your iPhone as your MacBook’s webcam wirelessly. From FaceTime to Zoom, it also supports a variety of video calling applications. This round silicone magnetic sticks to the back of the iPhone and can be used as a phone grip or cap, but you need to keep the screen at a 90-degree angle or the weight of the iPhone will drag the screen back or forward. If you want to set up one for the home table setup, there is also a mount for external display.
Casetify Wireless Car Charger costs $70: I’ve been using it for over a year. It is easy to install, has MAGSAFE support (with USB-C cable) and adjustable ball joints for a variety of viewing angles, and has Qi 2 certification at 15 watts rate. It’s more affordable than Belkin’s, and there are several interesting patterns. (I have the penguin design and it’s hard not to smile when I look at it.)
Iottie Velox Pro Magnetic Wireless Cooling Charger for $56: This Iottie option has a suction cup (if your vent is awkward, or you only like the dashboard or windshield mount), and it has a powerful magnet to hold it in place. The telescopic arm also has a ball joint that provides you with a wide range of movement to find the ideal position. The 7.5-watt charging rate is disappointing, but the USB-C charging cable is removable so you can remove it and store it while charging. The built-in fan also helps keep the temperature dropping when the sun goes out.
MAGGO Magnetic Charging Station (8-inch 1) for $70: This little ball has three AC sockets, two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports on the back, and on the front is a QI2 wireless charging pad that charges your phone. Perfect for workstations where you need to plug in many gadgets. Each port in the USB-A port takes 12 watts, and the USB-C port can output 67 watts, although it is reduced if you use another port or PAD.

MAGSAFE SSD cabinet, priced at $50: If you own an iPhone Pro Max and want to modify Apple’s more advanced video recording format (at a range of 60 frames per second or higher), you’ll immediately have a big problem: you won’t be able to record locally without an external storage device. You need to plug the solid state drive into your iPhone and it will record the video directly to external storage. But a hanging SSD doesn’t sound safe, right? They do not transmit power or data via magSafe, but are just a convenient way to store SSDs while recording.
Casely Grippy costs $15: When the Octobuddy (original inhaled phone mount) started to be popular, I really wanted one. However, since it uses adhesive to attach it to the phone, the idea of sucking all the dust and bacteria that the cup will collect makes me unable to try. This is from Casely, one of the few people who have received MagSafe support. In most cases, it works well. I glued it to the kitchen cabinet, the mirror, the refrigerator – basically any surface around it. However, when sticking it to the surface, I recommend applying extra pressure to ensure the suction cup real Stuck there. Otherwise, it will slide down and your phone will come with it.
MagSafe is the name of Apple’s accessory system, which is integrated into the range of iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15 and iPhone 16. The magnet ring (in the MAGSAFE case) on the back of the phone (and in the MAGSAFE case) can be more precise and faster than traditional wireless chargers. However, it is also a convenient way to hold accessories such as wallets in place or install iPhone without the need for fixtures.
Make sure you have Magsafe in your situation too
If you use the box in your iPhone, make sure it is a MagSafe shell (there should be your own magnet ring inside). The standard situation only weakens the magnetic accessories between the iPhone and MagSafe accessories. The MAGSAFE housing will maintain magnetic strength, and sometimes case manufacturers will use more powerful magnets for safer accessories. We have a lot of suggestions in our iPhone case guide:
Is MagSafe compatible with Android?
Locally, not. MagSafe will not work with most Android phones. However, some Android phones have MAGSAFE cases, such as the Google Pixel series or Samsung Galaxy phones, and have similar (if not the same) magnetic rings inside, allowing you to use many of the same MagSafe Power Banks, wireless chargers, and other accessories, although your internal wiring may change. Several accessories companies also include or sell MAGSAFE magnetic components that you can stick to the back of your smartphone to enable compatibility, although I have never used the magnetic magnetics I really like.
The QI2 wireless charging standard is changing all of this. QI2 adds a magnetic curve based on magsafe. This means that the QI2 phone has a similar magnetic fixing system, allowing MagSafe accessories to use more devices, so there is no need to use it. Unfortunately, for example, QI2 was originally baked on Android phones.
That’s why you may also start seeing the “QI2” MagSafe device – the latest iPhones all support QI2, and any device you purchase with QI2 will provide maximum compatibility.
