A new aerial photography contest brings bird life landscapes around the world – Huge

From the fiery explosion of Iceland’s Litli-Hrútur volcano to the football field nesting on an Arctic island, winning images of the International Aerial Photographer of the Year transport audiences around the world, often providing perspectives for air travelers and birds.
This year marks the first competition, with 1,549 entries. Many shots capture brief moments, such as highways passing through coastal fog or cownose rays having a fever, greeting a undulating Menhaden Bait Fish school. The competition selected 101 winning photos that you can read carefully on its website.
