Some Nintendo Switch 2 users report overheating, causing crashes

It’s been less than a month since the Nintendo Switch 2, but people are starting to report some of the tough hardware issues they’re having.
Using multiple Switch 2 players online, which seem to be primarily in Japan, but also elsewhere, has reported instances of its consoles as both the Nintendo Soup and Tom’s hardware are overheated. While some users simply say their Switch 2 has become too warm to comfortably stay in handheld mode, others have also reported full game freezes or crashes due to overheating, even in docking mode. It should be noted that there is an additional cooling fan on the switch 2 dock to prevent this kind of thing.
Obviously, this happens in a variety of games, from more intensive games CyberCyber Go to the last generation title Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Nintendo’s advice is to make sure the vents are clear and/or move the system to cooler areas, but whether it’s enough to alleviate the problem remains to be seen. If not, the user may need to send its switches to 2 units for repair. I’ve had a Switch 2 since I started and played a lot of it in docking and handheld modes, and I didn’t have this problem at all, which is worth it.
Still, my experience with the Switch 2 is not perfect. The Ethernet port on my dock recently stopped working again less than a month after its release. There is no problem with console launches, while Nintendo’s latest production seems relatively smooth, but there are still issues to be aware of.
