JetBlue Rev Rever 2 Fort Lauderdale Route, announced 2 more

JetBlue plans to fly more from South Florida this winter.
The airline announced Wednesday that it will bring back several flights to Fort Lauderdale-Gollywood International Airport (FLL) last year. And, it is preparing to launch two brand new routes in the process – one to Florida’s Gulf Coast and the other to the East Coast of Virginia.
This is an additional daily departure from New York Airlines and is planning to include more cross-land flights outside its largest Sunshine National Airport, including its premium mint pod.

2 brand new FLL routes
Headlines Wednesday’s Fort Lauderdale expansion JetBlue was two routes that had never escaped from South Florida Focus City before.
Over the next few months, airlines will launch uninterrupted services to two Southeast airports:
- Norfolk International Airport (ORF), Virginia, served twice a day.
- Tampa International Airport (TPA), serving uninterruptedly every day in Florida Hanoi, less than 200 miles from FLL.
Both routes started on December 4.
Bring back 2 other routes
Additionally, JetBlue announced that it would resume services to two Sun Belt airports that were previously trapped in cuts, and since the beginning of 2024, the airline has caused greater speed in network restructuring: Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), twice a day, Hartsfield-Jackson-Jackson-Jackson-Jackson-Jackson-Jackson Atlanta Atlanta International Airport (ATL), and daily services.

More flights and mint
In addition to those new and restored routes, JetBlue also calls daily departures from Fort Lauderdale to several major airports on the East Coast.
This includes additional daily flights to:
- Harry Reed International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas
- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
- Phoenix Skyport International Airport (PHX)
- Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)
- Richmond International Airport (RIC) in Virginia
Meanwhile, passengers looking to fly in the airline’s premium cabin will have more options: JetBlue notes that it will offer its Lie-Flat Mint accommodation on every FLL flight to LAS, LAX, PHX, PHX and San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

Growing again in Fort Lauderdale
This is a significant expansion of the airline Fort Lauderdale footprint. Last winter, between October and March, JetBlue’s departures were 6.5% less than last year, according to data from aviation analytics company Cirium.
But even before Wednesday’s announcement, it is expected to rebound this winter.
“Fort Lauderdale has long been a key market for JetBlue and we are pleased to keep growing with the region’s development,” Dave Jehn, vice president of JetBlue for Network Programs and Airline Partnerships, said in a statement to announce the announcement.
Fort Lauderdale is the first ever destination for Jetblue, a local base at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), a prominent position for the airport during the airline’s 25th anniversary. In February, I celebrated the commemorative anniversary of both airports between the two airports.

We should also point out that in the coming months you can book JetBlue flights using United Mireageplus Miles, after two carriers announced in May that they are working with a new alliance called Blue Sky.

The partnership will enable JetBlue TrueBlue loyalists to earn and redeem points on jointly operated flights and vice versa. The two carriers have not announced the start date of the cooperation.
