Chase Sapphire Preferred Card and Chase Sapphire Reserve Recommended Bonus

Chasing just makes it more profitable for your friends to recommend to your friends Chase Sapphire Priority® Card (See rates and fees) and Chase SapphireReserve® (See rates and fees)
If you are an existing Chase Sapphire preferred card or Chase Sapphire reserve holder, you can earn 15,000 bonus points for each accepted applicant – a total of 100,000 points from the recommended bonus in one calendar year. According to TPG’s July 2025 valuation, the value of these points is $308 per approved applicant.
Chase simplifies the recommendation process and now offers a combined page on its website and mobile app that allows you to generate recommendation links for all qualified Chase credit cards in one place. All you need to do is follow this link and log in to start creating a recommended link.
If you have multiple chase credit cards, just go to the drop-down list in the upper left and select the card you want to generate the recommended one.
Chase also puts some restrictions on the earning recommendation ability of existing cardholders, but more will be put in place later.

Beyond the popular bonuses, owning either of these two cards is incredible long-term value.
The $95 annual Chase Sapphire Preferred card is one of the best (if not the best) travel reward cards for beginners and experts, offering reward points for widely defined categories like travel and dining to help you book your next trip faster.
As for the more premium Chase Sapphire Reserve, it provides more travel-related perks, including a flexible $300 travel credit, a $500 The Edit by Chase Travel credit (up to $250 in statement credits biannually, minimum two-night stay required), a $300 dining credit for Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables (up to $150 in statement credits biannually), a $300 annual statement credit for StubHub or Viagogo is purchased via 12/31/27 (up to $150 per year, required activation), global admission or TSA Precheck fee credit, priority pass room access, and more.
With a generous income rate and the ability to redeem some of the most valuable points around, these cards can be a long-time Guardian. If you think one of these is perfect for your friends and family, be sure to send your referral link to NAB for up to additional Chase Ultimate Rewards points, but be aware.

Sapphire recommendation restrictions
The following restrictions are found under the terms and conditions of Chase’s Refer-A-Friend:
You can earn 15,000 bonus points with this referral friendly offer (up to 7) that has been approved for the card. The maximum bonus points for this offer are 100,000 bonus points. If your 10 or more friends apply with a recommended URL within one month, please use Chase at your discretion and you may not receive any reward points for friends who apply for that month and receive the approved card..
Specifically, Chase mentioned that if 10 or more friends use your referral link within a month, Chase may not award you any bonus referral points, at its discretion. This is an interesting development because existing cardholders can only earn 100,000 bonus points, which means you will get all bonus points from six recommendations until the seventh bonus points.
I don’t think this is a problem for most cardholders, but it may be how Chase restricts individuals from posting recommendations online in order to generate reward miles quickly and easily.
Bottom line
Chase increases the number of points you can earn each of you Chase Sapphire’s first choice and Chatong Sapphire Reserve Refer to 15,000 points instead of 10,000 points. Chase enables you to earn 100,000 bonus points from referrals, including some rewards, so you can make up for up to seven recommendations.
Remember that if 10 people use your link to apply for a card, Chase may prevent you from earning any reward miles.
