Life in Claire: Brunch at Essence Fest 2025, Camille Rose Naturals and Life Single Nostalgia

The first day at Essence Fest feels like a party – you can reconnect with familiar faces and cultural idols who shape your world. My weekend started with a brunch hosted by Bevy Smith and H&M, with guests like Tisha Campbell and Living single stars Erika Alexander and Kim Coles who just launched a new podcast, Re-Elive single. It was a full moment that reminded me why the show still resonates: it was smart, fun and time.

Shows like living singles are not only entertainment, but also show what is possible. Watching confident, career-driven black women on screen helped shape my horizons and in many ways inspired me to move to New York and create fashion bombs every day. This visibility is important. It plants seeds and opens the door.

After brunch, I stopped at the conference center to explore the stalls and adopt style. Camille Rose Naturals is an outstanding person. Their setup is beautiful and the product line is just as impressive – rich texture, clean ingredients and a strong sense of identity. Make sure you can get free samples and $10 products for free all weekend!

Here is a great example of what makes Essence Fest unique: This is the space where culture and business meet in our terms.

I’ll be out in New Orleans today and feel free to say hello if you see my good-haired wig in the new BWT. Essence Fest has just begun and its energy is unparalleled.
